Dance Sparking a Difference

A Fusionworks Dance Academy student company devoted to the pursuit of the art of dancing and the act of community service.
Picture
Directed by Fusionworks Dance Academy teacher, Michelle Sheehan, FUSE is a youth student company of dancers ages 10-17 who study intensively in various dance forms and then perform throughout the local community in donated performances. We dance to make a difference in our communities. We bring our donated concerts to senior centers, veterans, early learning centers, malls, and community centers. We perform and donate our efforts to social issues, health causes, and people in need. We warm hearts with our love of dancing.

Through hard work in an Intensive Dancer program in classes, rehearsals and donated performances with community service, our young dancers become well-rounded, confident people who gain knowledge and perspective about themselves through helping others.

We train our young dancers to be the best they can be within themselves. Self motivation, compassion, responsibility, and cooperation are instilled as tools for life. We believe in team work, and in instilling a sense of generosity towards others in the studio and in the community. Students who participate in the FUSE dance company may use their donated time for their High School community service requirements and for college scholarship applications.
