Fusionworks Dance Academy was founded in 1978 by Artistic Director, Deb Meunier and offers the finest in dance education for children and adults. The Lincoln studio is housed in the historic Quinnville Fire Station and the East Greenwich studio is on Main Street.

The staff of the Academy are professional dancers and/or have college degrees in dance education. Individual and creative thinking skills are nurtured in a warm environment of discipline and encouragement.

CLASSES OFFERED IN:

CREATIVE MOVEMENT gives very young children the building blocks for all dance. We work on strengthening major muscle groups and building memory and focusing skills. We encourage the little ones to use their imaginations and have fun.

A Magical Journey (summer schedule only). We will involve your 3 to 6 year old in creative movement, painting, costume creation, music and an informal performance. Call for more information.

PRE BALLET/MODERN

Pre-Ballet/Modern A and B: begin the transition to structured study. We build a strong foundation before formal study begins. All students are required to take Pre-Ballet classes before moving on to Level I study.

BALLET - Junior to Professional

Level I: is the beginning of formal study. Year round study is required.
Level II: is an intermediate level of study. Ballet classes begin pointe preparation. Dancing a minimum of two classes weekly and year round study is required.
Advanced/Professional: requires a minimum of five years formal study. This is the highest level of study offered.

JAZZ AND MODERN - Junior to Professional

Level I: is the beginning of formal study. Year round study is required.
Level II: is an intermediate level of study. Dancing a minimum of two classes weekly and year round study is required.
Advanced/Professional: requires a minimum of five years formal study. This is the highest level of study offered.

HIP HOP incorporates a blend of Hip Hop and MTV styles of dance. You will have the opportunity to explore and learn video style choreography in this class.

TAP Beginning in the summer of 2007 we will be offering tap classes for children and adults, of all levels in our East Greenwich studio.

ADULT CLASSES are for adults who want their own time to study dance but without the pressure of going on to advanced study.
